Sorry if this is in the wrong section. If you have Wifi in your home, there's a way to access NintendoZones from home called Homepass. I'm pretty new to Wifi devices and to the 3DS, but does anyone know if feigning the Mac Addresses in this way could allow us to feign the regional stations for the gachapon? Also, it's possible to pick up data such as Miis from the last person who passed through the point. Could people on this forum exchange name cards by leaving them at a Streetpass Mac Address we all access? I'd like the chance to use some of the more social features of the game.

Theoretically it would make more sense to either spoof the original ones. Or set up a MAC only for LovePlus Streetpassing that every has to use for homepassing

I did get Homepass working using the repeater method. I've picked up three other namecards through it; one Manaka and two Nenes. I could suggest to fatmagic @ reddit (who upkeeps the homepass.info list) if we have an LP MAC to put it on the GoogleDocs. Though it seems people just add every possible MAC to their cycler so it's easy to get drowned out for smaller games. Before that though, I'd want to see if anybody here can use the Homepass method but can't change their MAC address or has to keep it within certain specifications (for example, has to start with 02, etc.) so we can just match them instead.
As long as I've still got an open slot, I can pick as many different regions as people need and get the name-card in the cycler until people pick it up so we can all slowly strive towards a full set, if anyone is interested.
