Trouble in the Corridor...

I've been with Rinko in the Corridor many times,
where "students always walk around," and I am
always stuck on Lv.1.

Does anybody know why I can't progress here?

I wouldn't bother much with school locations, during summer and winter vacations you lose all progress made anyway.
