Need a Present for Rin Rin

Okay, it's Rinko's birthday next month, but I can't seem to get a gift.
I go to the Mall in Real Time, tried all three stores I think, but I go in and out of each with nothing. Now I hear once I choose a store, that one is the only one I can get presents from, but none of them give me anything.

What am I doing wrong? I will try again with all three stores, but in the mean time, can someone help?

You have all the month before any holiday to buy your presents. Ricchan's birthday is August 17th, so you can buy your present starting July 17th.

i think you'll know when it's time to visit the stores when your character will say something like "Rinko's birthday is this month/week" when you click the sleep button or something like that..anyway, yes you'll have plenty of time cause i think variety in stores for the older games changes every time you visit or every week(?)..cause i was looking for the neko mimi once for her birthday present and i couldn't find them until i visited the store many times till they appeared..

If the present you want is not in the store when you visit it, you can always reset and try again.
