So for the majority of when I play this game, I play it during nights. I got a confession from Manaka on day 65 and i'm around day 150 ish, via Skip Mode.
(I use an R4(edit for double posting: I can backup my save file)) Since I play for a majority during the night, would it be better to swap the inner clock of my DS 12 hours, so it'd midday instead of midnight? Would this cause any known problems?
I've read you can only get certain events during Real-Time mode and it's kinda annoying to not be able to see them due to not being able to play?
Or how exactly does Real-Time work? Can I set up the whole day during the morning, put my ds in standby and expect everything to have happened while the DS is in standby while I'm in class/work/tennis? (which is why i chose manaka =p)

I usually have to change the time on my DS to play through the day as I work two jobs. I wake up around 5AM and usually set up my schedule for the day. Then I save and set my clock ahead to around 9AM and play the morning events. I haven't noticed anything wrong. I just make sure that I don't play the same time twice in one day. (ie: if I fast-foward to 9AM and after playing turn my clock back to the real time, I won't play again until after 9AM passes in real time.)

Ah so you could, for example. Today is saturday, set your DS clock to 6am, do all the events, fast forward for saturday's events and save after each one. Then when you're done with the day, set your DS back, and use Skip mode until Sunday irl?

I'm not sure about using skip mode or not. I would assume that you can, but I never set my clock back to real time and played skip mode.

Thank you. From what I read in that, it seems if I change the time incorrectly, I'll lose whatever I had gained.
So i'm guessing in order to play Real-Time without losing info or anything, safely but fast, is just to change the day manually to the next, and setting the clock back to 9am (or whatever am/pm), and continue on in the future until year xxxx

When I time travel, I only go into the future and never to the past.
So if I wake up at 5AM and time travel to 9AM the same day to get the first event and then after I save, I turn my DS clock back to 5AM and don't play again until my lunch break at noon, I should be OK?

You should be fine if you do that.
I actually don't recommend to time travel unless it's really necessary, but as long you don't create any time paradoxes you'll be fine.

Would switching from Real Time Mode to Skip Mode mess anything up? If I was playing today in Real Time Mode and then played a week in Skip Mode, I could cap all of my stats and then go back to playing Real Time Mode a few hours later, would it mess anything up. Like would the week or so that I played through in Skip Mode affect the fact that not even a day passed in Real Time Mode?

You can switch between skip mode and real time mode any time you want without messing anything. Just be careful with something: if you schedule a date in skip mode don't change modes until is over or it would be like you forgot it and your girl will get mad.
