The game won't save on my DS. Can somone pls help?

I've recently downloaded the patched version of Love Plus and the game seems to work fine, except that I cannot save the game. When i do press save, the text box pops up saying "Saving data... Do not remove game card" and it won't go away. It hasn't frozen because I can still hear the music looping in the background while this is happening.
When I restart the DS and get back into the game, it seems I have no save data in any of the slots.

I have also tried playing through the game without hitting save and managed to reach Manaka's confession. But after that, it goes to a white screen and freezes. So i can't continue to the second part

I think it has something to do with my dam 'M3 DSreal' flashcard. Is there anyone who can help or has the same problem that I do?

I use R4 revolution and it works great maybe its the flash cart or try re downloading a new clean rom and patch then test it

Though lots of people say they have problems with their M3 flashcart and mine has always given me trouble too.

r4 revolution is an easy substitute and extreamily cheap I've evn seen em for 3$

yeah i think that would be best. cos I downloaded several other LP roms and the same problem occurs all the time. So i'm certain now that it is just the flashcart that's been screwing with me.

woo! I figured it out. it was just a firmware problem
