I have a doubt about setting the date and time on RTM. I probably wont be playing this until next year june to see the events so I was wondering of manipulating time to get special gallery items.
For now, I tried only small changes. I got the omazinai that requires you to use all your points for three days, so I advanced to 23:57, spend all the points in mails, waited to day change, advanced to next day 23:57 and repeat once more. I got the prize, and returned to the original time. All activity on the calendar for those 3 days dissapeared, but the girl complained about so many time without kissing.
The point is, I don't know how this affects the relation, and how much is keeped on the calendar memory. I want to skip to let's say may, to get a special dream, and go back to july 27th. Will advancing so much delete my actual activity? will the girl get mad for 8 months "skipped"?.
If someone has it on a flashcard, could please try it for me? I got and original cartdridge, so if I do something with the date, its saved forever and can't restore previous save :S
thanks.
(also, just a minor doubt: I bought a present -a punk wrist- for Rinko bd -august 17?-, but yesterday another message about presents appeared and I managed to buy a pair of glasses. in the "presents" tab of the suitcase screen, the BD present has a "birthday present box-ish" icon, while the glasses a big pink heart with a smaller red heart. What is that second present for? when can I give the glasses to the girl?)

You can give the gift with a heart on a short date, so call her up to give it to her. Whereas the one with the box is a birthday only gift. Also they do seem to get mad when you go back and forth on the date, as for the date skipping, ill check tonight or maybe someone else will later on.

hmmm by going back it could be a bug on my part but the activities seem to stay and if you missed a day it will stay as missed. As far as event and cg that would take too long to confirm since they are random or you need to do certain things to obtain them. Either way even if she gets mad you can make it all better by going to love plus mode and talking to her. Also if you don't think you'll be able to play for so long just delete their files and start over then, the gallery stays there as long as you have seen it.

As long you save a game with x date and x time, if you were to go back to a date before x, you're messing with the time of the game already. They couldn't put u back to a date which you've already passed, so you're be put into a zone of the date you've selected which doesn't link with the time you've played normally. It's not an activity wipe, it's just that they're not linked.

When you save your game, your save records the date and time you've last saved. As long you log in the same with a date and/or time before the date and time before your save, the game won't bring you back in time, but rather put you in a different zone which doesn't link up with the time and date you've played. Like a new time zone.

but wont they have to link up eventually as the time approaches?? or are you saying that you are put in some sort of parallel universe where you can do things you didn't do before and when the mentioned time arrives you come back to the original universe? All of that without affecting anything in both places.

What Aoba's trying to say from what I can make out of it, not sure if it's correct but who cares, is the second way to change time, the one that doesn't involve changing the LP+ clock settings that're based on the internal clock but touch the internal DS clock directly. You can't make any time paradoxes with that one, if you do you'll be severely punished. Still, the best thing of changing the internal clock's that you won't be penalized by the game if you change dates/ time correctly. Also, you can fastforward with this one but you can't go back in time afterwards if you do.
The other one's changing the clock settings in LP+, with this one you can go back in time but because you turned back time everything you did after a certain time never happened, so those're lost in time. This way of changing time while safer will drop the mood of your girl and reset charms and the stamplibrary completely. You can safely fastforward and go back in time with this one, not sure how it affects affinity because I never tried it.

Ya my bad, I was stating bout changing time on DS internal clock. If you screw up the timing you'll be put into an unparallel time zone where thing you've done will not linked up. You can attempt to correct it back as long you did not save the game after screwing up, that of course will cause your relationship to drop since you switch the game off without saving.

The only bad thing with changing the internal clock regularly is that your internal clock will get out of synch with your LP+ clock settings. If you're in LovePlus mode the game'll use the internal clock, in RTM the game'll display your internal clock corrected by the RTM settings. In my case my RTM clock's off by 4 minutes when compared to the internal one.

mine is off by one minute, with love plus mode being a minute faster than game time.

That one minute's probably caused by the first time you entered the time used by LovePlus+, if you pressed the 'use the same time as the internal clock' thing the game'll only look at the minutes and leave out up to 59 seconds of time. Also add the time it takes before you actually confirmed the settings.

I was planning to advance now that's the end of the month, to trigger ojimai and stamps to change, complete them on skip mode, and go back "syncro with internal DS clock". then advance, do the new tasks, and back, to complete faster the galleries. That seems to work with no problems, but I dont know what will happen if doing it advancing months. LP+ has fights with the girl? I never got her angry :S

Usually the worst thing that happens is them getting mad at you but you can fix it with talking with them for a while in love plus mode
