I apologise if it takes a while to reply, the project is still ongoing but our main focus right now is on polishing the hacking tools that are meant for public use. 28% is the translated percentage after we finished the LP>NLP+ translation integration and while we do have part-time translators working on new bits and pieces from the game that are being added to the translation bulk the project will remain a partial-patch at it's current status unless we are approached/find a main, proficient translator to handle the rest of the NEW scripts, so at this point we're only looking for hackers/programmers, Proficient Japanese>English translators and proofreaders with some Japanese reading knowledge, contact me via PM or @skype fi you're interested to help.
I wrote on this thread and even sent you a PM weeks ago but you never replied.
"NTR CFW" is probably the best method of applying the patch. It enables cheats, patches, screenshots anytime, streaming (new3ds) and many other things. (It is not compatible with all of the older firmware versions, it was not compatible with my 9.4, I could not find a list of compatible firmware versions)
Nintendo 3DS software versions 11.3 and 11.4 closed off many of the hacks. I recommend you do NOT update to those versions at this point. Please note, NTR CFW does not enable piracy, that is why I am comfortable mentioning it here. You can use many "entry points" to load this custom firmware temporarily onto your console, version dependent.
If you are not daunted by completely replacing the firmware on your 3DS with a custom one (Otherwise known as CFW) you can do that, it takes up to 2 hours.. and then you can update to 11.4. The hack, known as A9LH and Luma, protect themselves from being removed/overwritten. You then use the system menu as normal, however your console will be region free, able to run homebrew (depending on version and whether you installed it and Homebrew launcher DOES work on 11.4 if you have CFW installed).
If you have Luma, everything you need to run the patch is already installed. Simply dump it in the folder with the title ID and it runs itself.
EmuNAND is not needed any longer! (Emulated firmware, a copy of your SysNAND, system firmware)
You can also install homebrew via CIA (Apps/homebrew/etc packaged the same as an eshop item, an app called FBI installs it) and have it on your system as though it is a normal game or program.
Of course, if you are interested in this you should read up about it and understand the risks and benefits before doing it. It is complex and daunting for someone new to it.

Ami and we currently looking into preparing methods to run the files with the newest patching options so hopefully we'll be able to offer these as well...
The LP2NLP+ integration work has long been finished and is currently being proofread and corrected while our hacking team is in the process of polishing a user-friendly inject tool for the img.bin file so we can offer the translation of the game's graphics along with various other scripts that resident in that file... BUT unfortunately there have been some ETC1/ETC1A conversion issues with the tool delaying the project... Once these tasks are over the patch will be ready to be published as a partial translation.

Our first 「NEWラブプラス+」/「NEWLOVEPLUS+」 English partial-translation patch is now available, you'll find info on what is offered with this patch version, plugins and patch instructions at the initial page of this thread. Thank you for your patience, enjoy~!
I'm really psyched for this. I just played LovePlus on DS and I was surprised to see that it has an enhanced port for the 3DS. I was pleasantly surprised, especially when I saw that you guys started translating this. Since I saw that the partial patch got released yesterday, I could consider myself lucky.
Now English is not my primary language, but I know English pretty extensively, so don't hesitate to ask if you need any content language proof-checked. Unfortunately, I have zero knowledge of Japanese, I plan on learning it but that might take some time.
Also, if you need any help in the technological aspect, such as the files or the console, feel free to ask me. I attend an IT university so I might be able to help you with something. I also have a 3DS with A9LH if you need any help with testing the game.
Seriously, you guys are awesome and I can't wait to see what you have to offer in the future. I'm supporting you 100%.
I unpacked the game then replaced the patch files, i encrypted it but it won install
yosos I'm sorry it hasn't worked for you yet, that method requires a lot of complicated steps and seems like something went wrong, the hacking scene and tools keeps constantly evolving and our project's instructions might now be out-of-date with the current changes, it's best to follow these instructions and tools coming from this GBATemp thread instead especially if you intent to use most recent versions of 3DS/CIA/CXI hacking tools, as for steps required for the game's patch they're simple, use an a 'decypted' version of 3DS/CIA file as a base, replace the original files with the identically named project's files as they are offered in our most recent release and use our project's code.bin file instead of the original when required.
