Any new mini cutscenes?

Does new love plus have any new mini cutscenes in plus mode that shows the girls doing things they didn't in the older two games? Like her sitting on the toilet or something, lol.

if anything NLP has less LPM cutscenes not to mention you cannot navigate around anymore and in most of these scenes the camera view is way off (you're looking at the weird close up of a bum or a shoulder) and you can't fix it,zoom out, etc,lol..

just to mention the bath scene now is an all-white screen and the sound of water running down..no more girl in towel T___T

yeah, anti-ecchi measure, because they want to reach wider audience (girl??) so they removed these "unappropriate" scene..

The bath scene was and probably still is rank related. Maybe the rank has just changed.

And I would say there are more scenes. Like Manaka playing tennis or playing her tune on the piano.

No rank related, rank 21 and still is sound only. It happened ocassionally in LP+ but in NLP is always like that.

The only new scene I've seen in NLP is where she makes a phone call, it only lasts a few seconds though, as it quickly returns to the screen where you can exit Love PLus Mode so you can answer your phone.

but i enjoy always the new scenes from manaka.
It sounds so awesome when she plays the piano.
Its disappointing that you can´t see her bathing or taking a shower (T^T)
and to see her playing Tennis or making Fitness is overcute :3

i would definitely buy a MEGA-expand patch for LPM if they ever released one in the future,
it feels rather empty at the moment to me, and it's my most favourite part of the game.

i seriously could name a few scenes from LP/LP+ that are missing and
with Rinko the NLP scenes that i can remember right now are:

- girl is sleeping and turning around restlessly
- girl is sitting on the floor and moves around every now and then
- girl is sitting on the floor and she is ready to fall asleep while her head tilts left and right
- girl sits on the table and reads/does homework
- girl sits on the table and dozes off
- girl is walking(on her side) dressed in her daywear or school uniform
- very far zoomed out view where she looks minuscule and she is sleeping on her back, turns around and then goes back to sleeping on her back again..
- (only happens during school period) girl is exercising in her gym attire if you choose the P.E subject on the schedule during the mornings, she'll either do some (unsuccessful) push-ups or turn-arounds with her arms stretched out
- girl pats her face looking in the mirror (you)
- girl is walking along side her bicycle (usually weekends or vacation)
- (scenes where girl is using her phone or texting only re-appeared after the 1.1 patch,they are the same with LP+ but that shows that they're still probably adding the re-worked older scenes and maybe they're not finished with this part of the game yet?)
- girl is reading magazine with playful feet on the air
- girl is listening to music with old-school headphones on
- girls is sitting, same pose but without the headphones on
- girl goes to the loo and she washes her hands then comes back
- girl takes a bath but you only listen to sound of water and girl humming
- girl is sleeping on her front but you barely see anything other than the top part of her bum (WEIRD!!!)
- girl waves at friends while sitting on the table
- girl does a left and right pose for a few seconds like she does on the title menu then it fades away (weird and unnecessary)
- girl is standing there posing and sometimes waves at her friends

Wow, no girl in bath towel? That's my favorite mini cutscene in LP+. My other favorite ones are when she tries to decide what hairstyle to wear to the next date or what outfit to wear. The scenes where she drinks (tea?) from a cup is also adorable, as well as the scene where she reads a newspaper and listens to music (complete with headphones!). Still, I guess the cutscenes in NLP are nice as well. I would've killed to see Manaka play her piano in plus mode on LP+. I also like that in NLP, the girl sometimes waves to her friends. This establishes her somewhat closer to real life girls as in the previous games there was this virtual fantasy where you were the only person she interacted with post-confession.

Yeah.. Love Plus Mode is the best killing time method when you`re just bored and doesn`t want to do anything, just staring at the screen watching the girl doing her stuff.. notably missing is the bath scene, i really hate that.. T_T;;; some are like you said, weird and unnecessary, i doubt that the development team doing a re-check at the animation on screen before releasing it, really bad quality assurance..

ohh yeahh,you're right!..like sometimes the girl is stabbing herself in the eye with an ice cream cone,lol..
if you give her some of the presents like a mug she'll start drinking from there the next time

i'm back. And now, i haven't played loveplus, but due to the language barrier and region lock, getting it is a chore. If what i'm hearing is true, manaka may do that bath scene, but it's censored Konami probably censored it to prep it for an english release. I wish i had nlp, then me and manaka could return to towano city, even if it is through my USA regioned 3ds. I can imagine a family mart near where she is. there is a loveplus player on fb. her page is here

I doubt it. They wouldn't have censored it for an English localization unless they were aiming for an E rating. I don't see why they would, though.

Also, there's no reason they should've removed that cutscene. There was almost nothing ecchi about it at all, as it was just part of her daily lifestyle, which is what they WANT you to see. I guess different developers have different standards...

The bathing scene is still there, but heavily "censored" i.e: we just hear voice, no animation of her on the bath tube being presented to the player, unlike the trusty old LP/LPP when we can see her from the side of the bath tube. Also no scene with her only wearing bath robe. These 2 scene, on my opinion is still considered "ecchi", even by the japanese standard, that`s why you still see many scene depicting anime male protagonist bleeding his nose everytime he encountered a girl wearing only a bathrobe, it`s just a plain old fanservice that`s making it`s way to the LP/LPP before being chopped/butchered/decapitated on the New Love Plus.

For me, the decision to cut out the graphical version of these scene is a last minute decision by the NLP team, because the bath scene is still there, but its just with no graphic at all, maybe if someone can hack the 3ds maybe we can see if the actual 3D graphic scene is still there, or not.

The question is of course why?? It`a just a little scene, its not really ecchi you say, but maybe for them it`s still an ecchi scene. The original LP/LPP is a huge success in Japan so they wanted NLP being a huge success too..

For me, looking at how they promote this game, i think they wanted to broaden the demographic target of this game sales, that`s why they including a girl playing NLP with her male friend on their promo video, they wanted NLP can be played by girls too. Even they created a special icon that`s read "tobidase! kokumin teki kanojyo" that`s mean "fly out! popular girlfriend" this mean i think they wanted everyone to try and buy this game, not only for Ronery Otaku

That`s why i think the NLP team is a little hesitant to show ANY ecchi scene, as to make sure this game has a little resistance as possible to everyone, even for someone who dislike ecchi at all.

It`s just my speculation thought, maybe the real reason they didn`t include these scene really is because they have different animation, one team want to show these girl bathed from top view, another wanted the scene should just viewed from the side of the bath, and they fight vigorously over that scene before the director has his nerve explode and beat the shit out of them and tell them no bath scene at all or they lost their job

i just want to add that (as most people probably know but i didn't experience both until recently) in LP/LP+ there are actually two bath scenes, one she is in the stand-up shower scrubbing her body(view from top to bottom) and in the other one she is chilling in a bathtub (view from the side)

i honestly think they didn't censorship these scenes but they forgot to re-work the graphics or just didn't place the camera in the right angles for these scenes just yet.. the dialogues are the same and they don't make sense without the graphics(girl's voice changes depth then girl is standing infront of you and she talks to you yet you don't see anything) so why keep them if you're not gonna show anything during these scenes? to me NLP feels incomplete & rushed for now and time only will tell if some stuff were meant to happen the way they did or will be corrected with the future patches and the next game release..

i know nintendo and 3DS are not tolerant to hentaii stuff or even echii cause they want to target their devices mainly to a younger audience but i mean NLP is quite an adult-ish themed game to begin with as innocent and cute as it may be,lol..
