According to the Konami official FAQ, you get rich (NLP ingame currency) every sunday, the amount depends of how many times you used the Part Time Job command during that week. I still don't know the exact amounts, I'll be experimenting with this during the next days.

a user also said that you win a few points if you carry your 3DS around with you(the little shoe feet on top of your 3DS screen and the coin icon next to the i assume) and you can turn these points into coins for NLP,

Well, there isn't an official translation, I use "rich" because that's what appeared when I introduced "リッチ" at the Google Translator. XD

I got 10 game coins and couldn't convert them to rich. It kept saying I didn't have any. did you have to save, log out, and go back in, or did I just find another bug?

Never happened to me. Remember you can exchange only 10 coins per day.

remember you can exchange 5 at the time to 1..even if you have 10 you have to click the exchange button twice..but i don't know why it isn't working for you, are you familiar with how to turn them?

Like a lot of people, I've had problems with "rich" not being added on Sundays, despite working quite a few blocks during the week at my part time job. Apparently it's affected by the times you select your daily activities. Does anyone have more info? Don't know. I've found the most reliable method to be collecting a couple of "rich" every day by walking around with the 3DS turned on. It's just a bit, but it helps.

You never should turn on your game between 12:00 AM - 5:00 AM of sunday, if you do, you don't get any rich that day. One of the game's many bugs.
