Hi there,
I have been a die hard fan for the love plus series and I am planning to purchase a download edition from the e-shop, since I suspect the cartridge version would be worn out one day (so as the save inside). I have heard that there is an authorized tool (on the e shop) to covert cartridge save into the download version save on the SD card so that I can back up my save in a legal way. Has anyone tried the conversion before? Is it successful or would it affect the local content that is loaded on the SD card by the cartridge (before the start of the game)? Would there be any negative impact for such conversion?
Thank You!

The Love Plus Tools converts only data from the older games, LP and LP+, so you can import it to NLP or the physical version of NLP+. NLP and NLP+ have the option to export your play data to your SD card without the use of any external software.
I don't know if you can export your play data from the physical game to your SD card and then import it to the digital version, though. The data import options only appear the first time you run the game, and there aren't any import data options in the game menu.

Thank you for reply. I am currently playing NLP+ and have exported the play data onto the SD card. However I am not sure whether I can import the data back to a new NPL+ cartridge if the cartridge I am currently using breaks down . I suspect the export option on the NLP+ menu is only for export the save data and importing the game data to its love plus series sequel (if any), but not a parallel version?
