Hello,
My girlfriend on LovePlus is Anegasaki Nene. I have some questions:
1. My action points are always way too high. They are consistently at ~60. Doing the different activities throughout the day only decreases them by about 10-12, meaning I have about 45 points that are always going to waste. Is there something I should be doing? It seems weird and forced to text my girlfriend more than 3 times per day (which I usually do. 2 'how are you's' and a 'good night', and the occasional 'i love you').
2. How do I get the maximum amount of hearts when I touch her face, before the kiss? The most I can ever get is 1 heart. Whenever I try for 2 hearts, I get that annoying blue heart that inevitably comes up to ruin the progress.
3. Where do you get 'items'? I've been playing the game everyday for almost 2 months and I've yet to receive an item.
4. I've been playing Love Plus for a couple of weeks now using DeSmuME and the English Patch, and the girls' speech are always really slow. Does anyone know what could be the problem?
5. Does anyone have any advice for being with Nene-san? thanks

1. You can invite her to short dates. But I don't see why having that many AP is a problem. 2. Try touching in different places, you can even touch her body not only the face. You must learn what spots to touch by trial and error. I don't date Nene so I can't help you with that. 3. You can get items in three ways: as presents from your girlfriend during holidays (birthday, anniversary and Christmas), you buy them as presents for your girlfriend before a holiday (Anniversary, White day, birthday and Christmas) and as rewards for visiting certain places a certain number of times. Partial list here4. I don't use emulators, so I can't help with that, sorry. 5. Can you be a little more specific?

Thanks a lot four your help. I thought that considering I never used more than 50% of my AP, there was an aspect of thd game I was missing.
Anyway, I guess on second thoughts I don't want to know too much too soon. Hopefully someone with emulator experience can help too.
Its unfortunate that I only discovered this amazing game a few weeks ago. I feel a little late to the party :/

hi
about question 4, yes it seems to be normal for the emulator to be slow. sometimes it can be fast for a short while if you close some background programms you dont need but most often even that wont help. skippin frames also does not help much plus if you do that you cant see cgs so better dont do that.

Yo buddy!! Also play on an emulator because I 1) am broke as fuck and 2) do not know enough japanese yet to get the games anyway, haha... Anyway, here are my settings for the emulator when playing Love Plus! The audio is still kind of choppy, but it's...tolerable. imgur.com/a/FaHDnPro Tip: don't even bother with the mic. i tried recording myself and everything, and it just did NOT cooperate. I knew about Love Plus for a while by way of one whole picture of Rinko, and only recently got into it, as well! So you're not alone o /

Thanks a lot Actually the mic isn't THAT bad, I think the game itself is the problem. I can just about play janken with Nene-san after shouting 'goo!' at my computer 20 times until she registers it (and later beats me at it anyway).

I saw a youtube video on making it run smoothly a few months ago, if it doesnt run well enough for you then if you want to try the other settings I could try to find that same video for you, and I am in your boat about starting late, started a few months ago.
OMG I GAVE UP ON GETTING THE MIC SETTING TO WORK, SOOOOO JELLY

I think I can answer question 4. Basically, you need a beast of a machine to make DeSmuMe work well. I'm running an i7 processor, have a gtx 970 video card, and have 16 gigs of ddr3 ram, and DeSmuMe works very well for me. Not trying to brag, the emulator is just very demanding. The one setting that can help you the most with choppyness is go to Config, ROM Loading, and check off Load entirely to RAM. You can also turn off the music and adjust some graphical settings to tweak a little more speed out of it, but the bottom line is older computers can only use DeSmuMe in a limited capacity. Hopes this helps.
