has anyone tried paying the English v.0.2 patched game file with a r4 European or Us DSi?..
I want to buy either a DS lite(E) or a DSi(E) to also buy either Loveplus(J) or Loveplus+(J) games, but it wouldn't hurt to play the English patched file every now and again to get acquaintance with the gameplay first..but I've heard that Dsi is region locked for both DSi games and all older DS Roms..does that mean you can't play the English patched file or the Japanese card game at a E or U DSi?..
and will loveplus+ play at a Ds lite or do i need to just buy the earlier Loveplus card game?
sorry for that many questions but I'm lost with what I need to buy to make sure all three will work well with my console..

thank you for the information, I just ordered loveplus+,^_______^ now I have to decide whether to buy a Ds lite or a Dsi, based on if DSi will play the English patched rom and card game without problems or locking due to the region lock, i now know that atleast DS lite will play the game I just ordered,lol thank you,

thank you for the reply~!, I hope you are correct, i read otherwise on-line all over (but most such information are dated before DSi was released as assumptions from the press release..) but i guess it's very possible the older games that far weren't region locked since the machine wasn't build that way,so roms released before DSi should play without locking >____________<;
so can anyone validate that they have indeed played the English patch or the loveplus+ card game on their E or U DSi without region problems or their machine locking to a Japanese region?

you can buy a flash card for your DSi and transfer any amount of games to the card that will play normally just like any other official game would... there happens to be a similar topic going on right now here: loveplusenglish.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=626 you can read and follow some of the advices by our members personally i have a cheap R4i (NDSi) and it works just fine with LP(EN)/LP+(JP)
