i dont think so, tsubasa isnt considered a sequel to cardcaptors, or the world when back some ages

well Clamp(the creator of CCS,Chobits, Tsubasa,XXX Holic and Kobato) are always mixed all the old characters into_______(the new series).... so i not even surprised when saw the Chobits twin and Tsubasa casts in Kobato (=_=ll)

Well with the blending worlds an all I do remember seeing Sakura's staff in xxxholic shop... In the manga the last I read it was interdimensional travel for "feathers" so they were different characters from different side universes so they could meet up with characters repeatedly aslong as the author of the novel had corights of the anime character they can creator x amount of alt-universes with y amount of the same characters. As example they used the characters from the school detectives manga many times during the Tsubasa manga.
